Located in the Iowa Great Lakes, Nuts & Bolts is a "sister" publication to the already popular Recycler's Power Source.  The Power Source has a national circulation of 14,000 and targets the salvage and remanufacturers of the industry.       
    At the urging of many of our advertisers in the Power Source as well as the recyclers and parts companies that received the Power Source, we created Nuts & Bolts in June of 2003.  Nuts & Bolts began as a bi-monthly (every other month) automotive advertising publication that was delivered FREE OF CHARGE to nearly 50,000 businesses in the automotive industry.  It's original circulation was the upper Midwest states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota.
     In late 2004 (again, at the request of advertisers and readers alike), we made the move to a national publication streamlining the target businesses. But at the same time, the circulation more than quadrupled to over 210,000!  It is now sent to almost every auto & truck repair facility, service station, body shops, as well as radiator and transmission shops in the country.
     When we originally went national we decided to publish quarterly and distribute issues to four regions of the U.S. on a monthly rotating basis.  While this was well-received, one region was missing out on this publication each issue.  So in July of 2005, we reorganized again - this time into three regions that will each receive every issue.  (See our publishing and mailing "calendar" on the PRICES page.)
